Following our fantastic refurbishment programme (which we completed in May 2009), we are seeking an experienced Sous Chef for our 28 bed-roomed White Hart Royal Hotel, situated in the heart of the historic market town of Moreton in Marsh, Gloucestershire. The hotel is a popular and lively venue which is quickly acquiring a fantastic reputation for its excellent food offering under new Head Chef Daniel Broda. 


The opportunity:

 

We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef with a passion for working with fresh, seasonal and locally sourced food. Someone with a good solid history of working in a successful food led establishment who has the ability to significantly contribute to our menus and the production of our high quality food.

 

The key skills we require: .

  • Have a successful track record of working in a busy kitchen, enjoy working as part of a team and have a flexible approach to work. Be ready to take overall responsibility in the absence of our Head Chef.

  • Be capable of producing outstanding dishes using fresh, seasonal and locally sourced food in a timely fashion

  • Be educated to at least NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery

  • Ensure that particular attention is paid to Food Safety requirements and Health and Safety legislation at all times.
